What is the receipt link?

After somebody presses I have paid, they are shown a link to their own receipt and are told to keep it. Nothing is emailed, because most supporters never give an address.

What is on it

• The amount and the date.
• The four character code.
• Your page name.
• Whether you have approved it yet.

That last one is the useful part. Somebody who paid on Saturday and does not see their message on Sunday can look at their own receipt rather than message you.

Why it works without a login

The address carries a code that is unique to that support. Anybody with the link can see it and nobody without it can, which is what makes it something they can bookmark or paste into a note.

Kulhad never posts that link anywhere. It is shown once, to the person who paid.

If they lose it

There is nothing you can send them. The link is not stored against an account and you do not have it either.

What you can do is tell them the state of their support directly, and approve it if you have found the money. Once approved, their message is on your wall, which is what they were looking for.

On a custom domain

The receipt always lives on kulhad.co, even when your page is at your own address. If your domain lapses, receipts that were handed out while it was live still work.
