How to print posters, standees and counter cards

The Share screen has a Print and standees section with four sheets. All of them are drawn at 300 dots per inch, so they stay sharp on paper.

The four

• A4 poster. For a wall, a noticeboard, a shutter. The code is large enough to scan from a couple of metres.
• A5 standee. Two panels on one sheet, the top one upside down, so folding it in half makes a tent that faces the customer and you at the same time.
• A6 counter card. Small, for beside a till.
• Shelf strip. Long and thin, for the edge of a shelf or a table.

The headline

Settings has a line that prints above your name on all of them. Up to 40 characters. It defaults to something sensible and is worth changing to whatever you would actually say out loud.

What the code on them does

Every one of these carries the code that opens your page, not a payment code. Somebody scans with their camera, reads who you are, and pays from there. That also means the sheet works before you have added a UPI ID.

Getting them printed

Download and send the file to a print shop, or print at home. A4 on ordinary paper is fine for indoors. For a counter, ask for 300gsm card and matte lamination or none at all, because gloss makes a code harder to scan.

Checking before you print fifty

Print one. Put it where it is going to live. Scan it with your own phone from where somebody would actually stand. Lighting does more damage to a QR code than anything on the screen will tell you.
